Spirulina

What is Spirulina

A Nutritional Powerhouse

Spirulina is a blue-green algae in the form of long strands that resemble a coiled spring. It is very digestible and the richest food source available to humans. It is absorbed immediately after consumption and quickly satisfies hunger. Spirulina is the perfect balance of protein and the eight essential amino acids. It is low in cholesterol, calories, fat, and sodium and contains nine vitamins and 14 minerals. Spirulina is found in several forms with powder and tablets being the most common.

Spirulina’s natural nutrient balance, high digestibility, high protein content, and vitamin and mineral content help build a highly efficient immune system. It has a cleansing and detoxifying effect on the body.
